Customisation Services

Our website provides you with all of the information that you require to easily install and set up your Designed Electronics unit,

But we can make things even easier by offering two levels of Customisation services.

Option 1: Labelling Service (£17 +VAT)

We can print and apply your Channel Input window labels to your Unit prior to dispatch, this will save you doing this yourself.

Option 2 : Full configuration set up service (£43 +VAT)

This includes us printing and applying your Channel Input window labels to your unit, setting up the input channels on your unit as per your requirements, a full test of the unit with your configuration, a completed Configuration Sheet along with a wiring sheet showing which sensor wire needs to be connected where will be supplied with your unit.

The Process . . .

Download your required unit Configuration Sheet and fill out the required fields, this will tell us what your inputs will be called (please take into consideration any input channel with a time delay) and email the sheet(s) to us, we will then evaluate your requirements and we may contact you to verify these details, the other options you have are the labels themselves, we have some pre-defined templates for you to choose from these include Font Style, Font Size, Font Colour and Background Colour, these are infinitely changeable via the Avery site which you are more than welcome to make yourself but we offer some standard general options for you to choose from

Label Choice . . .

If you require a label style not in this list please contact us with your requirements and we will design the labels for you.

Backgrounds - (The dotted lines are just the printing boundaries, these do not show when printed)

White - This we regard as the Standard Background and matches the white background of GSU alarms

Cylinder - This is mostly used for different gasses

Yellow - This is used for Unit Identification Labels (see below)

Grey - This is used for Unit Identification Labels (see below)

Fonts -

Standard - This we regard as the Standard Font, The text size and colour perfectly match the original front membrane font and colour which is the same as the standard GSU alarm windows which can also be useful when labelling an ALU to match aesthetically with a GSU (see our GSU Page for reference)

Standard Bold - This is the same Standard Font but bold.

Standard Max - This is the same Standard Font but made bigger to fill the label window.

Standard Max Bold - This is the same Standard Max Font and made bigger to fill the label window.

Wide - This is our Wide style Font.

Font Colour -

Font colour is generally our standard dark Blue or Black but can be any colour of your choice

Unit Identification Label

You may also want a Unit Identification Label fitting, this is useful when you have various units wall-mounted in close proximity or if your unit is a distance away from the equipment it is monitoring.

Download and fill out your required units Configuration Sheet(s) telling us your required Alarm Input Names and options, Download and fill out your Custom Label Sheet and then Email both sheets to us
