After more than thirty years of experience in the design of electronic control systems for industrial, military, and semi-conductor industries a small team of engineers made the decision to start a new company with the intent of supplying high quality electronic control systems for industrial applications.

Designed Electronics Ltd was formed in April 2017.

Our policy is to design electronic control solutions that provide high quality, low energy, high efficiency, reliable products to our customers.

At Designed Electronics we chose to design our electronic control equipment at component level as opposed to a system integration approach.

Custom embedded microcontrollers are used as the processing element in our designs.

Durable membrane operator interfaces provide for reliable operation even while wearing gloves. The surface may be wiped clean without issue.

This approach enables us to design and manufacture cost effective and reliable product solutions for our customers.

All control system enclosures are fitted with pressure equalisation devices and have internal circuit boards conformally coated. This makes our systems much less susceptible to condensation issues.

Only fully traceable components are used in the manufacture of our products.

We are subscribing members of BSI (British Standards Institute) and are constantly updated on changes to prevailing legislation in regard to product manufacture.

All our products come with a two-year warranty.

The products are fully EMC compliance evaluated and must pass all tests.

EMC compliance testing is carried out at Eurofins E&E in Bideford.

All products are CE and UKCA compliant and carry the logos to confirm this.

Our design, manufacturing, and purchasing processes have been tailored to minimise the carbon footprint of our products.

Designed Electronics are registered with the Environment Agency as a producer of WEEE products to comply with product end of life disposal legislation.

All our products are designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom.
